M|Buy, the local media technology and services division of MediaBank, has announced the launch of a demand side platform (DSP) for buying and selling local advertising inventory nationwide.
M|Buy DSP will be a central console through which national advertisers can order buys on local TV, print, radio, out-of-home, digital, and other advertising. That console will list available local ad inventory throughout the US, along with demographic data from the US census, third-party viewership/readership/listener rate information, and interactive maps—enabling advertisers to target local media buys by relevant audience, media outlet, and geography.
"Currently, local media vendors don't know how to share inventory with major advertisers; meanwhile, local ad markets are extremely fragmented.
